Ball and Wire Bonding System. by TPT Wire Bonder GmbH & Co KG

Wire bonding is a manufacturing procedure that uses a wire to make a connection between two pieces of metal. To be more exact, two pieces of metal are linked together using a wire and then heated to form a joint. When the wire is removed, this junction will be held in place (by some form of glue). This junction can then be used to connect, for example, a chip to a circuit board. Wire bonding is commonly employed in electrical equipment such computer chips, batteries, and circuit boards.

To link two pieces of metal that are part of a bigger gadget, manufacturers will use a wire to connect them. The wire is then removed, leaving behind a bond that can be retained. These bonds are robust and dependable, making them an excellent choice for connecting components.
